Continued drawing fundamentals and foundation.
Objectives
We will work through the principles of solid technical drawing as it points the way into painting. Each lesson is a disciplined building block towards effective and repeatable painting & drawing success from observation.
This session we will continue to concern ourselves mostly with seeing and expressing line and relative value and discuss any work that has been developed during the last month. I will have a few objectives for the day, a set-up to reference, and some actionable homework to accomplish during the next few weeks. Reach out if you have any questions!
Suggested Materials
• Strathmore 400 Series Drawing Paper Pad - 14" x 17”
• 14 x18” piece of 1/4” Foam Core to support drawing pad.
• Clips to attach paper to foam core.
• Graphite Pencils from 3B - 2H
(any brand OK, I use Mitsubishi + lead holder)
