Studio Information
Norton Factory Studios (former motorcycle plant) is located in lower Fruitvale, Elizabeth has been an artist in the building for the last 9 years. Elizabeth conducts her daily personal and commissioned project work in her 420sf space, while hosting small, intimate classes on a regular basis for community building & outreach.
The studio is located on a industrial block in the lower Fruitvale neighborhood, with a 5 minute walk to the Fruitvale Bart station. Typically there is ample free parking and is fairly quiet, other than the trains. Our neighbors include the local brewers Ale Industries, Red Bay Coffee HQ & roastery, and many of Fruitvale’s most delicious meals within walking distance. The building features a large industrial common area with co-working space, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and wifi.
Behind the building is a Bart commuter parking lot which is currently occupied by La Clinica for community covid screening.

Each student is provided:
Basic aluminum portable easel (you may bring your own pochade box)
Small taboret for essentials
High quality lighting CRI 94+ Overhead and on model.
Large mess sink for washing up
Model stand and controlled lighting
Restrooms
Partial Kitchen for quick meals
Keurig + coffee & tea
