6+ session long-pose portrait with a single sitter, Malcolm.
We will make our way through the time-tested academic process. Drawing, painting and variations of approach will be tolerated, with an emphasis on excellence, accuracy, interpretation, and content.

Week 1 Drawing
Week 2 Drawing Refinement
Week 3 First Pass / Underpainting / Rendering
Week 4-6 Refinement

This class combines 3 hours of model time with an additional half hours bookended for discussion or feedback on the night’s work. Elizabeth will demo techniques and provide ample feedback to guide you through 6-session hour portrait sitting. And additional session on October 27 will be considered.
