Sundays Jan 5 - Feb 9, 4:00-8:00pm

In this 6-week series we will focus on more complex portrait situations with three 2-session sittings. In other words, each portrait will get at least 6 hours of model time, spread over 2 weeks.

Week 1 will be for creating an accurate drawing or underpainting in values. Week 2 will be for rendering or painting in full opaque color. This will allow you to focus on strategy in between the sessions to help maximize your work from life.

In order to demonstrate a reasonable approach, Elizabeth will paint along with you for the first 2 sessions, giving advice as needed, as always.

This class combines 3 hours of model time with an additional half hours bookended for focused discussion and feedback on the night’s work.
