Sundays December 01 - 15, 4:00-8:00pm

3 week series on COLOR and how it affects our perceptions of light and local color. We will focus on representing and communicating color & light on form using the tools available to us. This class is designed to strengthen your approach to any subject, by way of the portrait.

This class combines 3 hours of model time with additional half hours bookended for focused discussion and feedback on the night’s work. From 4:30pm-7:30pm there will be a single portrait pose for the entire 3 hours, with a new model each week. Elizabeth will demo the first week, and provide feedback to guide you through a single 3-hour alla prima portrait sitting. When the pose ends at 7:30pm, we can spend time discussing the results of our session’s work.
